Block paving drive repairs are sometimes required because of poor maintenance, perhaps not being cleaned properly or frequently enough, or possibly not re-sanded after cleaning, all of which enables water ingress and weeds to take hold, then rain, frost and vehicles can all result in movement to occur, the end result because your expensive driveway appears to be a disaster!
Or perhaps the block paving driveway simply wasn’t installed accurately from the beginning, poor compaction of the sub-base, an absence of proper quantities of type of sub-base, poor edge retention, poor or no concrete haunching, sunken area’s around drains and manholes etc, all these are likely causes of block paving drive problems, but can normally can be fixed without excavating all of it up and starting again!
